Crossing Borders – GRETI Border colloquiums

The "Crossing Borders - GRETI Border colloquiums" consisted of the organisation of a several two-day colloquiums (2015-2016) under the aegis of the GRETI (interdisciplinary cross-border research group). The aim was to develop, within the scope of the UniGR-Center for Border Studies, interdisciplinary perspectives on border-related issues and to generate cooperation between academics from the UniGR partner universities.

3rd GRETI/UniGR Border colloquium

24 and 25 November 2016, Hermann Neuberger-Sportschule, Saarbrücken (Saarland)
With the support of the University of the Greater Region and the Frankreichzentrum (French Centre) at Saarland University

The "Crossing Borders – GRETI Border Colloquiums" series was not only concerned with a transregional vision of Border Studies in the Greater Region, but also and above all provided genuine opportunities for networking, which will subsist among the inter-regional working groups of UniGR-Center for Border Studies.

The "Crossing Borders – GRETI Border colloquiums" series was able to continue in a new format, as UniGR-CBS "Border Studies" seminars, with the sponsorship of the Interreg V-A Greater region programme.
