Cross-border training in the Greater Region: Benefits, Challenges and Perspectives (2025)

Dual education is becoming increasingly important at universities and educational institutions in the Greater Region. This model allows students to combine theoretical knowledge with paid professional experience. The result is stronger regional connections and better employment opportunities. At the same time, this form of education proves to be an effective tool for acquiring technical, linguistic, and intercultural skills—an essential advantage for entering a challenging cross-border labor market.

Students, researchers and economic and social stakeholders will come together for the next UniGR-CBS Greater Region Forum to take a closer look at current developments and future perspectives for this educational model. The panel discussion will examine the current state of the educational model, analyse the legal and practical framework, highlight experiences and explore possible future developments.

Representatives from all four countries of the Greater Region will share their expertise and personal insights on this topic.
