The virtual lecture of Jussi Laine focuses on the role of borders in times of counter-Europeanisation tendencies and which challenges Europe is facing.

Jussi Laine is Associate Professor of Multidisciplinary Border Studies at University of Eastern Finland and President of the Association for Borderlands Studies. He is at University of Luxembourg from August 16th to October 15th 2021, working together with Prof. Dr. Astrid M. Fellner from Saarland University and Dr. Christian Wille from University of Luxembourg. His project during the research stay is to conduct research on counter-Europeanisation tendencies and to develop partnerships in the field of border studies.

Virtual lecture as part of the interdisciplinary conference series "Border Realities: Challenges and Perspectives in Uncertain Times".
